Upon receipt of your order, please fully inspect the shipment. If there is ANY DAMAGE, please utilize one of the following options at your discretion and contact S. Conley at your earliest convenience.
REFUSE THE ENTIRE SHIPMENT: This is the easiest to process and possibly the longest time frame. The shipment will go back to the Manufacturer and any damage claims will be handled directly by the Manufacturer and the equipment will be re-shipped. CAUTION: Replacements will not necessarily ship right away and depending on what needs to be repaired, it may affect project schedule. While all repairs and replacements will be done in the quickest timeframe possible, there will be a leadtime and that will be communicated back to you as soon as it is known. If entire shipments are refused, S. Conley Sales, Inc. will not be responsible for impacts to project schedule.
PARTIAL REFUSAL OF THE DAMAGED EQUIPMENT ON THE SHIPMENT: The damaged equipment will go back to the Manufacturer and any damage claims will be handled directly by the Manufacturer and the equipment will be re-shipped once repairs are identified and made, or once a replacement is manufactured.
ACCEPT THE SHIPMENT, INCLUDING DAMAGED PIECES, AND NOTE WITH THE DRIVER ON THE BILL OF LADING THE SPECIFIC DAMAGE: Take several photos of the shipping damage, obtain a copy of the packing list and Bill of Lading, and contact me at your earliest convenience. A damage claim with the shipper will need to be filed, and at this point it will need to be decided whether the damaged items can be repaired, based on a case by case basis, or if new pieces will be reordered as replacement, and file for full re-imbursement from the shipping company.
